For the longest time, I used to follow random diets and workout videos from YouTube but they were never sustainable and I felt like I was not getting anywhere. I really wanted to do everything right once and for all that’s why I started going to VisionGym and engaging Irene’s help. The sessions are always different and intensive, Irene always encourages me to get stronger. After 2 months of training and proper nutrition guidance, I already started to notice changes. I feel tighter overall, my pants fit better and I just don’t feel as lethargic and cold as I used to. Throughout my two-year fitness journey with Ivy, she's managed to help bring down my weight and body fat levels significantly lower, while boosting my fitness and overall well-being. Starting at a fat percentage of 35%, she reached our first goal to bring it down to 24%. She helped improved my core strength, muscle mass, and opened my eyes to a healthier and cleaner lifestyle.

 

She's compassionate and empathetic, yet strict when she needs to be. She makes sure you do your reps properly and assists you when you reach fatigue. She gives pointers on how to carry on additional fitness routines on your own, and she's always approachable whenever in doubt. Furthermore, she recommends good sports massage therapy as well. Overall Ivy is a type of trainer you bond with and know that she's got your back.

I always had a dream to hike the base camp of the Himalayas mountains, hence, I started training. However, I injured my lower back in the process of training. One of my good friend recommended Irene from VisionGym. With the customised training programme and attentive guidance by myPersonal Trainer, Irene, my recovery sped up but most importantly, I saw a significant improvement in my overall strength.

In August 2020, I approached Ivy when she had a rare opening for personal training in her schedule. We talked about my goals of gaining strength, losing fat and building a sustainable foundation of fitness. In the 4 months till the end of 2020, I trained with her 3 times a week and followed a meal plan that she tweaked every week. Aside from constant encouragement and carefully monitoring changes in my weight/performance, she also took into account my preferences and lifestyle into her planning, which made incorporating fitness into my life much more convenient for me. In my time with Ivy, I have progressed much more than with any other fitness programme or trainer I have engaged previously.

I have successfully achieved body recomposition - I have lost 5kg weight wise, but my waist has gone down 7 inches; I am now a UK8-10 instead of a UK12, and I can hip thrust 100kg (started with 30kg). It is rare to find a trainer who has a wealth of knowledge and experience with strength training and nutrition, catering to women - and with a great personality no less! I highly recommend working with Ivy to achieve your goals, especially if you are looking for a complete overhaul or lifestyle change.

My friend recommended Irene to me when I was looking for a personal trainer to help me achieve my personal fitness goals. From the first meeting, I had a positive impression of her. She is confident yet relatable, which puts me at ease right from the start, so I signed up for one year

with Vision Gym. After training with her for the past year, my respect for her as a trainer grew. She is able to tailor her training plans for me to achieve maximum results and constantly motivates me to do better. She also believes in educating her trainees which helped me a lot during the circuit breaker period as I continue to workout on my own.
